Deimos (Greek: Δεῖμος, "panic"), in Greek mythology, is the god of terror. In Hesiod's Theogony, he is one of the three sons of Ares and Aphrodite (Cytherea), being the brother of Phobos, the fear, and Harmonia, who married Cadmo. The terrible Deimos is the personification of panic and accompanied his father and brother Phobos, causing the troops to abandon formation and flee in disorder.
